Rangers striker Hadi Mohammed: Sunshine Stars draw proof of our new spirit

Enugu Rangers striker Hadi Mohammed says the squad is together under manager Abdul Maikaba.

Hadi believes the best example of the new look United came in the 1-1 draw against Sunshine at Akure Township Stadium.

Proof, according to Hadi, of a new spirit in a new look team.

Hadi who faced his former employers on the afternoon told Lodgexpress.com: “Everyone’s up for it, everyone’s up for the challenge, up for the fight.

“In my personal assessment, the epitome of that was the Sunshine Stars game.

“We conceded early in the game and we still had the courage and the determination to score an equalizer barely ten minutes afterwards.

“We were disappointed with the draw, but when you look at the wider scheme of things it’s great character.

“We’ve had some new signings come in during the mid-season transfer window and we’ve just managed to make it work and build that team spirit as quickly as we did.

“I feel like the players have integrated very well and we’re learning about each other more and more.

“But the team spirit is very high and we want to keep that going in our next game.”
