Just In: IG wades into Police Brutality of a Civilian in CR

Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba has directed the immediate arrest of policemen involved in brutally beating of an unarmed civilian with a cutlass in Ekori community in Yakurr local government area of Cross River State.

The action by the Police IG comes after the video went viral on social media yesterday where the Police officers flogged the civilian with cutlass.

The Police IG has directed Ekori DPO to bring the two MOPOL involved to the Force Headquarters in Abuja latest Wednesday through the Cross River State Command CP.
