Bayelsa SSA-SDGs dedicates BMA award to Governor Douye Diri
The Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Dr. Ebiware Wariowei has dedicated the ‘Vision Driver Award’ which he received from the Bayelsa Media Awards (BMA) to the state governor, Senator Douye Diri.
Speaking to reporters at Trendy Event Centre, Otiotio-Yenagoa, venue of the event on Thursday, Dr. Wariowei expressed appreciation to Governor Diri for giving him the platform to serve the state.
The SSA-SDGs said he was delighted and surprised to be nominated for the honour and thanked the organisers for finding him worthy.
He said by honouring him with the award, the organisers have shown that they recognise his passion, commitment, dedication and contributions to the development of Bayelsa State.
Dr. Wariowei said the award will spur him on to double his effort towards attaining the Prosperity Agenda of Senator Diri through the SDGs Office.
The SSA-SDGs further enjoined the youths to be dedicated to their duties, saying their impact will be felt in the society and they will be honoured and celebrated.
