Ememobong felicitates former info commissioner, Ita Awak at 62

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong has felicitated with his predecessor in-line, Engr. Ita Awak on the occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary.

Ememobong who on Wednesday, 27th April, led the management team and other staff of his Ministry to the Shelter Afrique residence of Engr.Ita Awak, said he and his team were excited to identify with the former Commissioner on his special day.

” We are excited that God has preserved your life thus far, and that is why we have come to share with you on this special occasion”.

” As a tradition of your former Ministry, we remember the contributions of past political heads towards building our state, and the impressions they made in the Ministry would continue to live in the hearts of staff and other stakeholders who worked with them at the time “, he added.

Responding, the celebrator, Engr Ita Awak, commended Ememobong for initiating the tradition of reaching out to past Information Commissioners on their special days, alluding that the practice is a testament of Ememobong’s creativity and respect for his predecessors.

” Your creativity and humility is something that endears you to me, and for the fact that you have made this practice a yearly ritual for all your predecessors is highly commendable. God bless you, and I want you to keep up with your good works in the Ministry “. Engr Awak said .

Engr. Ita Awak was appointed Commissioner for Information in 2002 during the administration of the former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Arc. ( Obong ) Victor Attah.

Meanwhile, his public profile reveales that he was born in April 27, 1960 in Enwang, Mbo LGA Akwa Ibom State, and he is
currently, a Director of Airworthiness Standards, in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
