GOVERNOR UMO EMO REITERATES COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTING SMEs … Hails Market Women St Itreto Junction

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has reiterated the resolve of his administration to support Small and Medium Scale businesses and other entrepreneural endeavours across the state.
Speaking when he stopped by to interact with petty traders at Itreto Junction, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, he commended the women for their commitment to their businesses under the sun or in the rain.
The Governor who spent time to encourage the women, assured them that the government under his watch will not accommodate idleness , adding that there are deliberate policies in the ARISE Agenda aimed at supporting SMEs.
Pastor Eno himself a seasoned entrepreneur, maintained that even God, the giver of every good thing promises to “bless the works of our hands” and not to support idleness.
Addressing other jubilant and expectant crowd who trooped to the scene for a personal encounter with the friendly and cheerful first citizen of the state, he urged them to channel their energies into meaningful endeavours which he said is the hallmark of the current administration.
The Governor carefully and practically bought from/supported all the traders at the junction to the admiration of onlookers.
