EKET FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY MEDIA MEN COMMEND EKERETE UDO’S APPOINTMENT AS GOV ENO’S SPOKESMAN

Journalists and other media professionals from Eket Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State have commended Governor Umo Eno for appointing one of their own, Mr. Ekerete Udo, as his official spokesperson.

In a release on Tuesday evening, the media professionals said the reappointment of Mr Ekerete Udo as Chief Press Secretary came from his ability to credibly discharge the responsibility perfectly in the past.

The statement, signed by the Chairman, Jerry Edoho, the Secretary, Mfon Bassey stated that,
“Sir, your appointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to our Golden Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, is anchored on the fact that you have embedded your name in gold and have conscientiously exhibited proficiency in character and professionalism without any iota of doubt.

“Considering your impressive record as former CPS to Governor Udom Emmanuel, we see this particular appointment as a symbol of merit and we are glad to categorically asert that you are professionally intelligent, savvy, committed and noted for achieving outstanding results on any assigned task

“It is our belief that your reappointment will strengthen our confidence in governance and find lasting solutions to welfare of our members as we gear towards witnessing an expansive positive realities of the New Era as encapsulated in the Arise Agenda”.

The group further congratulated other new appointees, and pledged their support to the success of the Umo Eno – led administration.

“In the same spirit, please permit us, on behalf of the leadership and members of Eket Federal Constituency Media Professionals, to also congratulate the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Anietie Usen, Chief of Protocol, Mr. Otobong Edemidiong and Dr. (Mrs.) Uduakobong Inam, Economic Adviser, for making the list of fresh appointees,” the group added.
