“Dakkada will fight hard to the bitter end” – Goalscorer Kufre Ebong

Dakkada goalscorer Kufre Ebong is confident that the club will fight to the very end in their Nigeria Premier Football League relegation battle.

Despite sharing points with Rangers during their 1-1 draw at home on Monday, the Uyo outfit are still stuck in the relegation zone in group B, three points behind 8th-placed Bayelsa United.

“But we are determined that won’t happen – there are too many lads in the dressing room who care.

“We know we’re in a tight corner at the moment and it’s been tough since the start of the season and it’s not great when you see the league table popping up on screen. But the fans saw our fighting qualities against Rangers, and if we maintain that level of performance, we believe we can come out of it in the end.”
