Police Arrest Robbers Of NYSC Lodge

Suspected armed robbers who invaded the NYSC lodge on 6th July, this year at Udo Ekong Street, off information Drive in Uyo have been arrested.
The Police Spokespeson, Akwa Ibom State Command, Mr Odiko Macdon made this known in a statement.
He said during the raid, the suspected thieves had damaged the doors of the partially fenced building and dispossessed the Corps members of their phones, jeweries, physical cash and other valuables.
The Police PRO listed those arrested to include Aniefiork Okon Willie, Iniobong Okon Eden and Joshua Bassey Asuquo.
He said the suspects confessed to be responsible for the said robbery and mentioned other members of their gang who are now at large.
Mr Macdon stated that the arrest followed a meticulous investigation by the Anti-Robbery Squad of the Command stressing that the suspects were responsible for terrorizing Aka Community and environs.
