Mercy Johnson Okojie, has opened up on why she stopped acting romantic scenes in movies.
Mercy Johnson happens to be a renowned and talented Nollywood actress who has showcased her masterpiece in the Nollywood movie industry for years. Her first movie titled ‘the maid’ brought her into limelight and she drew the attention of various movie makers moving forward. Over the years, the Nollywood actress has featured in numerous movies, including comedy and romantic movies.
However, following her marriage to her husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie in August, 2011, Mercy Johnson was no longer seen playing romantic roles, and while addressing it, she revealed that her reasons for not taking such roles anymore was due to her marriage to her husband.
The 38 year old mother of four explained that her husband was not happy seeing her act such scenes, so she had to put an end to it when they got married.
