Eket youth structures declare total support for Pastor Umo Bassey Eno & all PDP candidates

The leadership of all Youth Structures in Eket Local Government Area, which comprises of the Youth Caucus, Youth Council, Dakkada Youth Ambassadors and the Forum of Village Youth Presidents had on Tuesday, 16th August, 2022 during an enlarged meeting of the forum, declared unalloyed support to Pastor Umo Bassey Eno and all the PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections.

Setting the tone, Comrade Tommy Enodien, Eket Youth Caucus Chairman and the Chief of Staff to the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, commended the youth leadership for turning up enmass despite the short notice.

Comrade Tommy lauded the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel for his numerous landmark achievements recorded across the State.

Mr Enodien, a seasoned youth mobilizer, urged all Youth Structures to remain steadfast and unwavering in their support for the Party and all PDP Candidates as the 2023 election draws closer.

He tasked the Youth Structure to remain peaceful and committed towards a brighter future.

In his remarks, Comrade Joseph Charles Edoho, the Youth Council Chairman, lauded the Governor for his pragmatic leadership style, infrastructure development and Industrialization of the State which is a necessary towards a prosperous Akwa Ibom.

Mr Joseph Edoho in his submission reiterated the youth readiness to mobilize massively for the Party in the 2023 general elections.

He urged all Youth Structures to rise in support of Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, whom he described as the most preferred to govern Akwa Ibom come 2023

Similarly, Eket Dakkada Coordinator, Mr. Bassey Bassey, and the Senatorial Leader, Forum of Village Youth Presidents, Senior Comrade Daniel Essien, strengthened the youths by highlighting the invaluable contributions of the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Frank Archibong, the Local Government Council Chairman, Mr. Akaniyene Tommey and other political stakeholders to the Youths.

At the meeting, Elder Godwin Nduaesa, in his remarks, advised the youths not to be envious of people’s positions but rather should encourage and support them, so that in due course, they will in turn also be saddled with leadership positions.

The high point of the meeting was the youth’s resolve to support all PDP candidates, starting from the President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his Deputy, The PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Senatorial Candidate, Dr Ekong Sampson, House of Representatives Candidate, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh and Dr Nsidibe Akata, the House of Assembly Candidate.
