Frank Archibong applauds Eket PDP stakeholders for supporting Gov Udom, PDP, Umo Eno

Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mkpisong Frank Archibong , has applauded the leadership of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Eket local government for supporting Governor Udom Emmanuel’s led-administration and PDP governorship flag bearer, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

Mr. Archibong, also congratulated the PDP the PDP deputy governorship candidate, Dr. Akon Eyakenyi and all the PDP candidates for National Assembly and House of Assembly across the State.
Speaking during a breakfast meeting at the Royal Square, on Thursday, 28th July, 2022, in Nduo Eduo, Okon-Eket, Eket LGA., the Commissioner stated that it is important to always gather to appraise our relationship.
“When we are together, we will succeed and we will effectively achieved the desired result”.

The Chieftaincy Affairs boss, extolled the exemplary leadership of the State Chief Executive, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, reaffirming his unwavering support to the completion Agenda and succession plan of the governor.
He commended the host, Dr. Nsidibe Akata, for the bold and prompt decision of appreciating the stakeholders and leadership of the party for standing by him to emerge the party’s standard bearer, saying that Akata is widely and generally accepted.
“This breakfast meeting has gone a long way to also strengthen the party and, that is what we need now. Going forward to 2023, get your PVC intact. There will be nothing like ballots highjacking; election is all about the people and your relationship with them. Therefore, with this bold and convincing step, our great party, the PDP will emerge victorious in 2023”, he added.

Incumbent member representing Eket State Constituency at State Assembly, Rt. Hon. David Lawrence, said “I have searched and understudy all candidates of the PDP, and I am very sure that victory will be our song in 2023”.

Executive Chairman of Eket, Mr. Akaniyene Tommey, who said PDP is set for landside victory in 2023, noted that PDP is the only political party that can rescue Nigeria. He called on the aspirants who could not make it during the primaries to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and continue to support the party to achieve victory, come 2023.

On his part, former national lawmaker and political leader of Eket Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Chief Ndueso Essien, who was delighted over the impressive attendance by party stakeholders, members and supporters, hailed Obongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong for running the affairs of the party in Eket in a fair and natured manner.
“I am impressed that PDP has been well established and we must sustain the pace for unity, peace and development” Chief Nduese stated.

The former Minister of the Federal Republic, also charged Dr. Nsidibe Akata, to ensure capacity and efficiency speaks for him while in the House.

Also speaking, DG, Nsidibe Akata campaigns organization, Chief Iniobong Idem, Rt. Hon. Jack Udota, Prof. Etieben Akpan, Secretary of Council, Mr. Hanson Usoh, Leader of Eket legislative Council, Hon. Samuel Ekpuk, who spoke on behalf of all the councilors, Youth Council and Youth caucus Chairmen, Mr. Tommy Enodien and Joseph Edoho, all admitted that Dr. Akata is a good material, experienced, capable and an asset to Eket. They also promised to work to deliver PDP candidates from top to bottom, expressing hope that Eket will experience the best of effective representation under Nsidibe Akata.

In his remarks, the PDP Chapter Chairman of Eket, Obongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong , said there is no Party that can win PDP in the forthcoming elections.
“There is no shaking. We are prepared and are ready to win; In Nigeria it is PDP, in Akwa Ibom State it is PDP and, in Eket, it is PDP”. Mbong submitted.

Earlier, the PDP standard bearer for Eket State Constituency, Dr. Nsidibe Akata, specifically thanked the Commissioner, Mr. Frank Archibong, for the positive roles played which saw to his emergence. He appreciated all stakeholders for their support before, during and after the hitch-free primaries, assuring that he will consult widely and partner with Eket stakeholders to ensure he offers the best legislative representation always yearned for by Eket constituents, adding that this is a very critical and important election that will drive the process to rescue Nigeria.
