A’ibom youth structure is intact for Gov. Emmanuel, Umo Eno – Iwaudofia

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Matters, Comrade Aniefiok Wilson Iwaudofia, has said that the entire youth structure in Akwa Ibom State remains steadfast and loyal to Governor Udom Emmanuel and the aspiration of PDP gubernatorial candidate, Pastor Umo Eno.

Iwaudofia stated this yesterday at the Finals of Series 1.0 Football Tournament tagged “Our Votes, Our Voice (OVOV)”, aimed at bringing the youths together through football; a well loved sport to drive youths participation in the electoral process, while seizing the opportunity to promote peace, unity and collaboration.


The Governor’s Aide who doubles as Chairman, Akwa Ibom Youth Caucus tasked Leaders of various youth structures in the State, to continue in massive mobilisation for the success of the PDP in next year’s general election.

He vehemently reiterated that Pastor Umo Bassey Eno is the next Governor of Akwa Ibom State and urged youths to queue behind his aspiration.

Speaking further, he congratulated the winners of the tournament, Team Mkpó Amaa Change Initiative, and the Female Youths (Lemon) who came first for the male and female categories respectively and further commended other teams for turning up for the sporting event.

On his part, the SSA on Marketing and Brand Management, Mr. Ime Uwah said the competition has come to stay and urged the youths to eschew violence, drugs and other vices, stressing that only then will they enjoy a truly prosperous future. He also drum support for the Governor’s completion agenda and succession plan.


The event held with 18 teams in attendance which include; Team Iwaudofia, Team Rainmaker, Team Youth Council, Team Murphy, Team Christian Youths, Team Kuti, Team Female Youths (Lemon), Team Female Youths (Purple), Team Entertainment, Team Ibom Yield, Team Only God, Team Capo, Team Mendie.

Others are Team Village Youths, Team Dakkada Youths, Team Mkpó Amaa Change, Team Umo Eno and Team Youth Caucus.


High-points of the event were presentations of cash prices to all the participating teams and trophies to the winners.
