Breaking: Governor Udom approves payment of new batch of gratuity for retired primary school teachers

The AG. Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mr. Iniobong Akpan has thanked His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel for graciously approving funds for the payment of a new batch of gratuity to retired primary school teachers in the state.

In a statement signed by the Ag. Chairman, he emphasized that despite the huge backlog of gratuity met on ground by the governor upon assumption of office, His Excellency, the people friendly governor has promised to clear all outstandings in no distant time.

The Chairman also commended the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Frank Archibong for his effort and support to the Governor in ensuring the approval.
