Terrific ​Andy Okpe scores perfect hat-trick as Remo Stars trounce Niger Tornadoes

Andy Okpe was at it again on Sunday evening, scoring all three goals in Remo Stars’ 3-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes in Ikenne.

The towering striker got the perfect hat-trick – a goal from the spot and two cool finishes – to help Remo secure an important three points and book their spot in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

Niger Tornadoes had nothing to fight for after they confirmed their safety in the league last week and didn’t do enough to worry Kayode Bankole all through the game.

Okpe has now ended the NPFL 2021/22 season with 13 goals.
