Gov. Umo Donates N25M Naira To Nigerian Legion

Gov. Umo has donated the sum of Twenty Five Million Naira (N25,000,000.00) to the Nigerian legion in Akwa Ibom State to help cater for the needs of retired servicemen.

Also, he has made a One Hundred Million Naira (N100,000,000.00) donation to widows of fallen soldiers in the state to enable them start up or expand businesses so as to be able to cater for their upkeep.

He disclosed this while making his remarks during the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration held today at the Cenotaph, Uyo.
