IWF Inducts Okonjo-Iweala Into Women Hall Of Fam

Director-General, World Trade Organization (WTO), Prof Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has joined the elite club of global women, as International Women’s Forum(IWF), inducted her into its International Hall of Fame.

By this honour, Okonjo-Iweala, a former Minister of Finance has joined other top women achievers, such as former Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Hillary Clinton, Graca Machel and Coretta King.

Okonjo-Iweala, in her verified X handle, on Saturday, expressed her gratitude and joy, over the coveted award.

In a series of tweets, she stated: “Honored and humbled to be inducted into the International Women’s Forum, International Hall of Fame. Following in the footsteps of great sisters such as Coretta Scott King, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Graca Machel & H.E Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, among others.”

“Grateful to Congresswoman @RepDebDingell for her wonderful introduction & presentation of my award. Sincere thanks and gratitude to @IWFglobal, President Carolyn Carter and CEO Stephanie Mathews O’Keefe.”
