SPORTS: 2023 GOVERNOR’S CUP: NSIT UBIUM COUNCIL BOSS VISITS TRAINING CAMP …Boosts Players’ Morale

The Chairman of Nsit Ubium LGA, Arc. Iniobong Orok, has assured Nsit Ubium Governor’s Cup 2023 players, of the Local Government Area’s avowed determination to give the players the needed support to enable them retain the Governor’s Cup trophy that they won in 2013.

The Council boss disclosed this when he made an unscheduled visit to the players during training today, September 18, 2023. He maintained that he was confident that with the array of stars paraded by the team and with determination and commitment, the team will be unstoppable.

He reiterated his commitment to rally support from stakeholders towards ensuring that total backing is given to the team to enable it go all the way.

Arc Orok said he was amazed at the abundance of young, energetic, zealous and skillful players from Nsit Ubium and promised to take the game to the next level by putting the necessary infrastructure in place to help them grow from the grassroots to become superstars and great ambassadors of the Local Government Area.

He urged the players to remain focused on the goal, which is to win the Governor’s Cup, noting that the feat will to a large extent, showcase the LGA to the world.

While assuring the players of a 5Star welfare package for them, the Council boss challenged them to bring glory to the local Government Area by winning the cup a second time.

Arc Orok seized the opportunity to thank Pastor Umo Bassey Eno , the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, for bringing back the Governor’s Cup, promising that the Governor’s Local government Area, Nsit Ubium will make him proud by winning the trophy and dedicating it to the Governor.
