AKSG WILL CONTINUE TO PARTNER SECURITY AGENCIES …HC Info, Comrade Ini Ememobong

In a bid to achieve the ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno, and in order to ensure a safe State for citizens and residents, the Akwa Ibom State government will continue to partner Security Agencies in the State in greater capacities.
This was made known by the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong, Friday, during a Courtesy Call on him by Public Relations Officers of Security Agencies in the State, held in the Ministry’s Conference Room.
The Information Boss said that the Ministry of Information is opened to partnership through its various information platforms, for Security Agencies to explore, noting that the Ministry and Security Agencies are collectively working for the good of Akwa Ibom State.
Comrade Ini Ememobong noted that since the visitors are all doing Public Relations functions, it is important that they be registered with the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, while pledging to support them in that direction.
The Information helmsmen further thanked the team for their support and partnership during his first tenure and solicited for much more cooperattion, now that he is back as the Commissioner of Information.
Earlier in his remarks, the team lead and Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the State, SP Odiko Macdon lauded the Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong for his developmental strides in the last administration and thanked the Governor for returning him to the Ministry, while congratulating him on his reappointment as Commissioner for Information.
The PPRO ensued for more cooperation from the Commissioner and the Ministry of Information, stating that through their wider coverage and public enlightenment, members of the public will be more aware of their duties, and also cooperate with them to make their jobs effective.
Odiko MacDon used the medium onbehalf of other team members, to congratulate the Honourable Commissioner on his victory, as Council member, at the just concluded polls of the NIPR, adding that the victory was not just a personal victory, but a victory for everyone in the Public Relations family, the Information Ministry, and Akwa Ibom State at large, saying it is a thing of pride for all.
In his Vote of Thanks, the Public Relations Officer of the FRSC in the State, SRC Paul James, expressed gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner, Comrade Ini Ememobong, the entire Management and Staff of the Ministry of Information for the warm reception.
He further lend his voice in congratulating the Honourable Commissioner, adding that they all brought warm felicitations from their Bosses in their various Agencies.
In her Vote of Thanks, the Director of Public Relations in the Ministry, Mrs. Grace Akpan appreciated God for the lives of the guests, the Honourable Commissioner and all Staff in the Ministry, noting that it was the grace of God that made the event to be a reality.
She further thanked the guests for coming to felicitate the Honourable Commissioner, adding that the Staff were happy to receive their Commissioner back, praying God to grant the guests a safe journey on their way back.
