‘Spread the ARISE AGENDA Message to all Families”- Frank Archibong charges Family Heads on Assumption of Office

In his avowed commitment towards effective and efficient service delivery, Mkpisong Frank Archibong on Monday 31st July, 2023 charged the leadership and members of Clan of Family Heads in Akwa Ibom State to effectively spread the messages in Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE AGENDA to all families in Akwa Ibom State

He stated that the Clan of Family Heads, being a grassroot mobilisation group of Family Heads that cut across the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State, has a pivotal role to play in the articulation and implementation of the ARISE AGENDA, especially in the areas of Agriculture, Rural Development, Youths and Women empowerment.


Hon Frank Archibong charged the leadership of the group to reconcile all factions, irrespective of party affiliations and support Pastor Umo Eno’s led administration and his ARISE AGENDA

He urged them to be vigilant and to take ownership and responsibility for all government projects in their localities. With this, they will check theft and the vandalisation of the projects.

The elated Archibong thanked them for their support towards the emergence of Governor Umo Eno, expressing his heartfelt appreciation for their visit, while promising not to disappoint them.

In his remarks, Abong Idongesit Okon, President-Elect, Clan of Family Heads, thanked Governor Umo Eno for the reappointment and reassignment of Mkpisong Frank Archibong to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, describing the Honorable Commissioner as a square peg in a square hole.


He promised to work closely with the ministry in spreading the messages of the ARISE AGENDA to all families in Akwa Ibom State.

Abong Michael Miangekere (Eket Senatorial District), Obong Sylvester Akpan Udo (Uyo Senatorial District), and Obong Paul James Oboh (Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District), in their separate remarks, lauded the state Governor for his pragmatic leadership style and his recent launch of the ARISE AGENDA which will serve as a road map towards the actualization of a better Akwa Ibom State.

In attendance were: Elder Ini Ikie, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Mr Emmanuel Umontuen, Secretary, Akwa Ibom State, Traditional Rulers Council and; Directors in the Ministry.
