HON ATTAH PARTNERS GOV UMO ENO ON AGRIC DEVELOPMENT

The Member representing Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency in the House of Assembly and Chairman, House committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources, Hon ( Engr) Ubong Attah has assured the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno of the commitment of his committee towards agricultural development in the state .
Hon Attah further made it known that his committee would work with the blueprint of the Governor’s Arise Agenda on Agriculture to bring about food sufficiency in the state.
The Lawmaker was speaking recently during the official flag off of the construction of the Owot Uta- Nung Oku Ekere- Afaha Udo Eyop- Edebom 1 Road.
The lawmaker said, “As Chairman , house committee on Agriculture and natural resources and as a farmer, I will bring my proficiency to bear not only in production, processing and marketing, but in the full value chain in agriculture for wealth creation for our people.”
The road project is being executed by the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project ( RAAMP) of the Ministry of Agriculture.
When completed, the road would link Ibesikpo Asutan and Nsit Ibom local governmen areas.
