Akwa Ibom State Government has expressed the readiness to takeover Salvation Army Secondary School, Akai Ubium in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.
This is part of efforts towards efficient service delivery in the Education sector in line with the A.R.I.S.E. Agenda of the current administration of Governor Umo Emo.
The State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, gave the indication, while addressing the congregation at Akwa Ibom Southeast Zonal Headquarters of The Salvation Army Church, Akai Ubium, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, where he attended a commemorative service in honour of the Church members, who lost their lives on June 29, 2023 in an auto crash along Lagos-Benin expressway, while returning from a church function in Lagos.
Governor Eno also used the occasion to inspect the Cottage Hospital, Akai Ubium in commitment to the administration’s resolve to improve health facilities in the state for the benefit of the people of the State.
The Governor was accompanied on the visit by his wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno with other State Government functionaries.
