Lord’s Chosen Members React to ‘Death’ of Pastor Lazarus Mouka’s Wife

Members of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries have spoken out about the recent passing of Mrs. Joy Muoka, wife of the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Mouka.
According to reports, Mrs. Joy Muoka, affectionately referred to as Mummy Joy, passed away on Sunday morning sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. at an undisclosed hospital. The news of her death quickly spread, prompting reactions from the church members.
Efforts to reach the Head of the Communications Department of the church, Pastor Chidi Louis, and a visit to the church’s location in Ijesha, Lagos, were unsuccessful.
Despite the sad news, members of the church were observed freely moving about and engaging in prayer sessions within the main auditorium.
When approached by our soure for comments on the matter, some church members declined to speak, stating, “I will not be the one to speak on such a matter. All we know is that God of Chosen is able to do all things.”
It is worth noting that Mrs. Joy Muoka recently appeared in the church’s program titled “God That Does What No Man Can Do,” held on June 24 and 25, 2023, at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos.
