Sports news: JACOB ESUENE SPORTS CLUB SET TO RECEIVE GOLD MEDALISTS ON MAY 17

Jacob Esuene Sports Club (JESC), a non profit organisation is set to honour her members who are recipient of Gold Medal award in the recent national squash competition and other competitions on Wednesday May 17, 2023 by 2pm.
In a media interaction with Newsmen at Villa Marina hotel, Eket, the promoter, whose club is his brainchild, Engr. Iniobong Esuene said Jacob Esuene sports Club promotes the game of squash at all levels, the same currently have sixty four children registered with the youngest being three years old , Engr. Esuene went further to inform Newsmen that the academy is tuition free and all expense paid for all the trainees.
Engr. Esuene seized the opportunity to thank some corporate organisations especially Villa Marina hotel, Eket for taking up sponsorship of the club as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He explained that the mission of the academy is to use Squash as a medium for youth development in the community, State and the country at large.
The event which will take place at U. J. Esuene Hall, Villa Marina Hotel, Eket, will have Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor elect, Akwa Ibom State as Special guest of honour, while Hon. Monday Ebong Uko, Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Sports will chair the occasion.
RT. Hon. Onofiok Luke is expected as the special guest and other well meaning individuals , organisations and sports lovers are also expected to grace the occasion.
The club is poised to create a platform to bring integration of character, unity, sports development, discipline and fun especially to the largely energetic youths of Nigeria.
It provides a full range of all-year-round squash services at the club’s court for adults and juniors in Eket and its environs.
Since its establishment in 2018, JESC has concentrated on developing an extensive array of activities and opportunities for players in the region.
JESC aims to satisfy the needs of its client base by providing access to information regarding the club and squash, training assistance, online support, online coaching, provision of equipment and more based on the sports of squash in general.
We provide access to an extensive junior and adult program for all standards.
JESC programs are expanding to include the immediate environment around the squash club and country in general, local and foreign squash clubs, full time and guest coaches, squash enthusiasts and sponsors.
