Tornadoes midfielder Shola on Abia Warriors victory: ‘Top three battle? It will go to last day…’

Niger Tornadoes midfielder Abdulraheem Shola feels the race for the top three in group B this season won’t be decided until the final day of the season.

Shola was reacting after victory over Abia Warriors on Sunday.

He told Lodgexpress.com: “I don’t think it can’t be possible for us not to make the final three that will qualify for playoffs. Doma United and Rivers United are pushing, and Sunshine Stars, so we have to carry on until the end. Hopefully we can do well this weekend at Lobi Stars and after against Sunshine Stars and Bayelsa United. We can’t say it will be done because they will be pushing too.

“It’s important to have everyone sticking together and pushing in the same direction. It’s very simple and very clear.”
