Doma United ace Hilary: We fear no-one in the league

Ace Doma United midfielder Hilary Ekawu insists they’re as good as any team in the country.

Doma return to Gombe to welcome regional rivals, Niger Tornadoes on Sunday on the back of a 1-1 draw with Sunshine Stars during the midweek fixture.

Hilary also set the tone of the game with 3 key passes, 8 accurate long balls, and successful passing accuracy at 92.8%.

Ahead of their weekend game, Ekawu told Lodgexpress official website: “We know how important it is to play big games and to score an equalizer immediately after being trailed (against Sunshine Stars) was amazing.

“We have no one to fear in the League this season, we have a team who will fight until the end and I am sure we are going to do that.

“It’s been a very wonderful debut season for the club, we’ve played good football and it’s all credit to the coaching staff.

“The way they operates, it is all about playing good football and they have given us more opportunities to show our quality more.”

Doma United gained promotion to the Nigeria topflight division this season and so far they occupy the 6th position on group B standing with 16 points from 11 games. They’re separated from group leaders Rivers United & Lobi Stars by just three points.
