Rangers Int’l center-back Uche: We cannot dwell on Abia Warriors loss

Rangers Int’l captain John UCHE says they cannot dwell on derby day defeat to Abia Warriors.

Uche says Rangers need to ‘pick their heads up’ after home loss to rivals Abia Warriors on NPFL group B opening fixture with a strong performance at Lobi Stars in the coming days.

“Obviously it was a really disappointing display,” he told Lodgexpress official website during his post game interview. “Losing 2-0 at home is never nice but there is little I can say. There are other games we still have to play so we need to get our heads up and win against Lobi Stars.

“For me, I’ll say it wasn’t just about the pressing. It was about some crucial things we failed to do right today. We didn’t do much in our duels and that’s why we didn’ have control over the game. It is tough to say at the minute what went wrong exactly, but we need to analyse our performance in the coming days.

“We need to find out what we didn’t do right, and then we will make an evaluation about what we need to do to be best.”
