Wike Submits Sacked Commissioner, 17 Other Names To The House Of Assembly For Review As Commissioners

A list of 18 nominations for commissioner has been given to the River State House of Assembly (RVHA) by Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike for review and approval.
Prof. Princewill Chike, the former commissioner for health, which the governor had onced sacked, from his position was among the nominees.
The nominees must present on the House floor on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, by 9am, according to a statement from the Rivers State House of Assembly’s Clerk, Stanford Oba, released on Monday evening.
He named them as Mr. Ndubuisi Okere, Mrs. Tonye Oniyinde Briggs, Prof. Princewill Chike, Hon. Jacobson Nbina, Barr. Mrs. Inime Aguma, and Engr. Charles Amadi.
Mr Ben Daminabo, Chris Finebone, Austin Ben Chioma, Uchechukwu Nwafor, Fred Barivule Kpakol, Barr. Emenike Eke, and Prince Ohia are some of the others.
Prof. Kaniye Ebeku, Mr. Ezekiel Agri, Mrs. Ukiel Oyaghiri, Hon. Damiete Herbert Horsfall, and Hon. Emeka Onowu have all also been nominated, according to the statement.
“Nominees are to bring original copies of their documentation, including their tax clearance certificate, for the screening, as well as 35 sets of their credentials to the office of the clerk, ” according to the statement.
