Pastor Umo Eno Will Run An All-inclusive Govt – Ntuk Udeh Assures …Inagurated as Deputy DG of PDP Campaign Council

The Deputy Director General of the PDP Campaign council, Prince Godwin Ntuk Udeh, Ph.D, has assured that the PDP Governorship standard bearer, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno will run an all-inclusive government where every citizen of the State will be carried along in the scheme of things, as evidenced in the recently published lists of members of the PDP campaign council where members were selected even down to the grassroots level.

Ntuk Udeh gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen, build up to the official inauguration of the PDP campaign council yesterday, 17th October, 2022, where he was inaugurated as the Deputy Director General of the Campaign Council.

Ntuk Udeh who doubles as the Chairman Akwa Ibom State Roads and Other Infrastructure Maintenance Agency (AKROIMA), pointed out that the campaign team has been strategically constituted to capture people with the right attitude and goodwill to deliver PDP in the 2023 general elections in Akwa Ibom State; adding that more people will be incorporated in the campaign council.

“The Campaign Council list is made up of men, women, youths, people from the grassroots and most importantly, unit-based people; and if we have extended our searchlight to capture all these people, that is the inclusiveness we are talking about in Umo Eno’s government. Pastor Umo’s government will be very promising, very engaging and very accomodating.”, Ntuk Udeh said.

Speaking, the Party’s standard bearer, Pastor Umo Eno pledged to run an all inclusive government when elected into office in 2023. He appreciated the overwhelming support shown him by Akwa Ibom people, and urged everyone to go to their various units, wards and local government areas to canvas for votes for the desired success of the PDP at all levels.

His words: “I like to thank everyone for accepting to be part of the campaign council; for accepting to work with us to achieve the succession plan. I want to thank His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, for the grace of God on you, that has directed you this far. I want to assure you that we will not let you down.

“We will ensure we run an all inclusive government, continue with your legacy projects and ensure that none of them suffers. We will take it to a greater heights, we will add value to it. And we will make sure that the people of Akwa Ibom continue to derive the full value chain of those legacy projects, from Ibom air to the Ibom deep sea port to the roads to all of the factories, we will continue to expand the scope of the value you have added to Akwa Ibom.

” We will energize SMEs and support youths to start their own busineses, we will boost the rural economy and grow our revenue base.

“Let me urge all of us to go back to our wards and deliver PDP 5 over 5. For those who contested with me at the primary, I thank you for your understanding that only one person will be governor but government belongs to all of us,” he said.

Inaugurating the campaign council, Gov. Emmanuel who drew his inspiration from various Bible verses, said that the journey the PDP is embarking on is not for the swift nor the battle for strong but victory is assured because this is God’s own project.

He noted that the campaigns will be issue based, stating that he had no doubt that Umo Eno will be a successful governor because of his entrepreneurial track record, competence, character and capacity

He urged members of the PDP not to be complacent but work as hard as they have always done over the years to ensure a resounding victory for the party.
