Obidients Two Million March Shuts Down Uyo

In Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, a-two-million-man march organised by supporters of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, caused massive gridlock in metropolis.

There was heavy gridlock from Water Fountain, Nwaniba road, to Plaza, Ikot Ekpene road, Abak road, Aka road up to Discovery Park in Udo Umana street as the ‘Obidient Movement’ embarked on a two-million-man peaceful solidarity rally.

The Labour Party supporters from different walks of life gathered around the Water Fountain, Nwaniba road which was the takeoff point.

A popular group in Nigeria, Take Back Naija, TBN, and led by the State coordinator, Mr Bernard Titus and secretary, Mr Martins Ukpong, coordinated their organization’s local government coordinators and other members actively in the march.

During the march, the State coordinator of TBN couldn’t speak to this Reporter as he was busy organising his team.

But the State secretary, Mr Martins Ukpong, who spoke on phone informed that Mr Titus, who leads by example, was really busy organising all Local Government coordinators and members to enable them behave ‘Obidiently’ during the rally.

Mr Ukpong further said that there is a Divine hand in Peter Obi’s aspiration to become the President of Nigeria, that all hands must be on deck to salvage Nigeria.

All efforts to reach Mr Nature Udo who partners in this great rally was abortive despite the fact that the rally terminated at the Discovery Park where he manages. One of his security team member said that he couldn’t be reached because he was very busy.
