ON EKANEM WILLIE we stand, stakeholders tell Prof. Etie Ben, Council Chairman

Attempts by some aggrieved stakeholders in Eket to over rule the Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel over the endorsement of Ekanem Willie as the next AKHA member for Eket state backfired as stakeholders fought at the residence of the Council Chairman Mr. Akaniyene Tommy.

It was learnt that The council Chairman, Chief Nduese Essien, Prof. Etie Ben, Chief C. H. Isong and others were in that meeting.

Trouble started when Prof. Etie Ben insisted that stakeholders refute the endorsement of Ekanem Willie. Chief Nduese Essien kicked against it leading to a heated arguments.
