NNL 1st Round ends with Ibom Youth on 3rd position

The first round of the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) ended last week with Ibom Youth FC of Uyo on the third position with 19 points and Team Manager, Etido Inyang remaining a happy man.

Having played a total of 11 matches in the first round of the the 2021/2022 Nigeria National, League B1 Southern Conference, Ibom Youth FC of Uyo won 5, drew 4, lost 2 matches. They scored a total of 15 goals and had 10 goals with plus 5.

In an exclusive interview with the Team’s Media Officer, Keresifon Essien, the Team Manager expressed confidence that the team will do better in the second round, pointing out that nothing will stop them from finishing well on top of the final league table when the chips are finally down.

Meanwhile, Gateway United FC of Abeokuta are on top of the NNL B1 table after the first round of eleven matches with 22 points. Bendel Insurance are on the second position with 21 points.
