Hon Frank Archibong empowers party faithfuls in Eket
Excitement thrills Eket Chapter PDP as 25 party members received financial empowerment courtesy of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Rt Hon Frank Archibong, during an enlarged meeting of the party which took place on Sunday 17th April, 2022 in Ikot Ibiok, Eket LGA.
Setting the tone, Obongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong, commended the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel for his numerous landmark achievements recorded in Eket Local Government and beyond.
He specially thanked the State chief Executive for always keeping to his promises to the party, he sited some of his achievements to include the Eket – Etinan road, Eket sports stadium, beautification of Eket urban and numerous road construction spread across the local government area.
Barrister Akpadiaha Ebitu, PDP State Legal Adviser, Hon Ayang Ayang, member Ibom Power plant in their seperate remarks lauded Governor Udom Emmauel in his genuine efforts towards the development of Akwa Ibom State.
They urged members of the umbrella fold to remain united as PDP remains the strongest political movement in Africa.
Presenting the cash empowerment to beneficiaries, Rt Hon Akaniyene Tommey Ikott, Executive Chairman, Eket LGA tasked party executives and the entire PDP family in Eket LGA to support Pastor Umo Bassey Eno as the preferred candidate for the exalted position of the Governor come 2023.
Mr Akaniyene Tommey thanked the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Rt Hon Frank Archibong for always giving back to his people and advice the beneficiaries to make good use of the money to support their busineses
Mkpisong Frank Archibong, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs while presenting his remarks urged party faithfuls to support the completion agenda and succession plan of Governor Udom Emmauel.
Mr Archibong tasked party members and executives to support and vote for Pastor Umo Bassey Eno during the PDP Gubernatorial primaries which is slated for next month.
Rt Hon Frank Archibong commended Governor Udom Emmauel for always standing firm to support the party at all levels.
The meeting had in attendance party stakeholders, ward and chapter executives of PDP in Eket LGA.
