Andrew Majalisa praises Doma Utd teammate Hilary Ekawu after Bayelsa Utd performance

Doma United full-back Andrew Majalisa has heaped praise on teammate Hilary Ekawu after his match-winning performance against Bayelsa United on Sunday.

Ace midfielder Hilary Ekawu was again one of the stars for the Savannah Tigers, with the assist for Charles Chibuike’s opening goal along with the winning goal of the game to give the hosts all three points and further cement their second spot of the top three in NPFL group B standing and following the match, Majalisa lauded the matchday hero.

“Ekawu has been phenomenal all season,” Majalisa told Lodgexpress.com. “He’s a player who’s probably appreciated a bit more by his team-mates than some of the pundits and the media.

“Now, however, I think people are starting to see what a talented player he is. Maybe that’s only because he’s scoring, but we’ve always appreciated him. He’s a top man and a top player.”
