IbomAir Receives Two New Airbus A320-200 at Victor Attah International Airport Today

IbomAir will officially take possession of two brand new Airbus A320-200 aircraft, today, Tuesday.
According to the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong who made this known in Uyo, the two new aircraft are evidenced of the expansion project of the fleet of Ibomair as promised by His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel. He said the aircraft will touch down the Victor Attah International Airport at 11am.
IbomAir is a Nigerian airline owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government. The airline commenced operations on June 7, 2019 when a Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft with the inscription of IbomAir took off from Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, en route to Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. Akwa Ibom is the first state in the country to own an airline.
