​Man City defender Akanji stunned by ‘crazy’ De Bruyne passing

Manchester City debutant Manuel Akanji could not believe some of the passes from teammate Kevin De Bruyne in the Champions League.

The Citizens secured an impressive 4-0 win over Sevilla in the first game of their group stage campaign.

De Bruyne was at his best in midfield, while Akanji put in an assured display in defense.

The latter stated post-game: “I watched him over years on TV like probably a lot of you guys and now I see it in training, It’s really crazy.

“I remember the first training, I wasn’t expecting the pass in the deep, I moved a bit out and he played the perfect pass to check to the outside.

“You have to be careful with him because out of nowhere he can make something. That makes him so dangerous.”
