Pratiksha Tondwalkar, a Pune resident, was a bank sweeper before being appointed Assistant General Manager (AGM). Pratiksha’s story proves that any goal is attainable with perseverance and determination.

This was not a one-day miracle for Pratiksha, born in 1964; her success is the fruit of decades of struggle and toil.

Pratiksha was married when she was just 17 years old. However, she lost her husband when she was just 20. She had trouble finding work because she did not have the proper qualifications.

Pratiksha started working at SBI as a sweeper to help support her family and complete her education. She eventually earned her degree and kept up her studies. After proving her dedication and devotion, she was promoted from sweeper to clerk.
