Man Utd seek to sell trio with Lisandro undergoing medical

Manchester United will push to sell three senior defenders once a deal for Lisandro Martinez is completed.

The Ajax stopper is in Manchester today to undergo a medical and sign with United.

Once pen is put to paper, Lisandro will fly to Australia to join United’s preseason.

United’s imminent capture of Martinez means departures for Eric Bailly, Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones, to ensure Erik ten Hag’s squad is not overloaded with centre-backs, says the Mirror.

Ten Hag already has skipper Harry Maguire, World Cup winner Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof, with Martinez’s arrival giving him four centre-halves from which to choose.
